The idea to form Two Wheels Turning was born early 2021 with the desire to provide great friendly service to all cyclists in the area around Shepperton, Staines-upon-Thames, Egham and Windsor. We wanted to be able to provide the options of a pick-up and collection service for cyclists as well as a mobile service and repair facility, whilst also providing cyclists with the back-up/piece-of-mind of a ‘regular retail’ location which we were able to do with our Staines Market, and National Trust Runnymede locations.
From 2021 we had the pleasure of being located along the Central London to Windsor cycle loop which is part of the bigger Thames Path National Trail we were able provide a helping hand for cyclists, a place to charge their phone or just somewhere to take a break and grab some refreshments with our two locations on the high street and the National Trust site.
In October 2023, Two Wheels Turning was merged into Highway Cycles (Hertford) operations who offered a true retail experience, and to further expand their offering of bicycle service and repair in and around Hertford, the county town of Hertfordshire, as well as servicing across London and the Home Counties (Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, and Surrey).
